We collect what we need to run your account and your sessions, and nothing else. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising, and we do not track you around the internet.
Your name, your email address and a password stored only as a cryptographic hash, so nobody here can read it. A record of your credit balance and every change to it. A record of the sessions you ran: which game, when, how many people were in the room and how far it got.
Only the display name a participant types when joining, and what they did inside that game. No email address, no account, no password. That information belongs to the session and is used to produce the debrief the room sees at the end.
If your session involves sensitive subject matter, remember that the display names your participants choose are visible to the room.
Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. We keep a record of what you bought, what it cost, and the payment reference, because we have to.
One cookie, to keep you signed in across our games. It is not used for advertising or analytics. Clearing it signs you out.
On servers we rent in India from DigitalOcean. We keep account and session records for as long as your account exists, and payment records for as long as the law requires us to.
Razorpay, for payments. DigitalOcean, as our hosting provider. Nobody else, unless the law requires it. We do not share or sell your data to anybody for marketing.
A copy of what we hold about you, a correction to anything wrong, or deletion of your account and its data. Write to hi@gentlebamboo.com and we will do it. Deleting an account removes its credit history, so tell us if you need a record first.
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
